Bellingrath news!

Hi pals,

Just wanted to share the news that the good word came a little while ago that son got a Bellingrath! Whoo WEE! I still think he will see what happens with a couple of places, but this has been a wonderful experience! I am trying to hold myself in the chair as I write!

Thanks for hanging in during this saga!

Congratulations - that's FANTASTIC news! Get up out of that chair and do the happy dance!

Congratulations! That is fabulous news!

Thanks so much to you both! It really has been stunning. I woke up today with a real smile on my face. My son's school has a tradition of announcing admissions news and scholarships as they come in in morning announcements. Several students fro S's school are now admitted to Rhodes (five, actually) and they and he were all celebrating!

Happy dancing!

momofthree, I am so excited for your son! That is FABULOUS news! I have thought of him several times during the past week and was hoping the news would be wonderful ... and it is!!! We just returned home from vacation late last night I was so looking forward to getting online and seeing this post. I hope he had a fabulous weekend there and with news like that, I can't imagine the excitement!!! Please pass on my congratulations to your son. WAY TO GO!!!

We are still pretty thrilled around here. Looking forward to clarity from a couple of other places, and then a decision can be made. I am one who likes the loose ends to be tied up, so the waiting game is a challenge, but all here are bouyed up by the good/nes/good fortune. Several other students from my son's school have also been granted admission and given some merit money, so that might help him decide, and he has made really good friends with one fellow finalist at the scholarship weekend . . .they have been talking on the phone. All is good! Thanks everyone!
