UT is the University of Texas, right? Which one? I thought there were a few....

Anyhow - it looks like your GPA is just below at the average for the general tier of schools you're looking at, and your SAT/ACT scores are above the average. Your course load is rigorous, your ECs decent, and you have a few leadership roles.

I can't say for sure, since I'm not very familiar with these schools (nor am I even entirely sure which ones you're applying to), but it looks to me like these schools should be safe matches. Btw, you're in-state, right?

hey umm i used to live in texas...so maybe i can help, pretty familiar with schools

youll prolly be hurt a lot from the rank....stats schools tend to focus most on this....bring it up will help a lot....might not get the 10% auto admittance, but you could get closer i bet with a lot of work....sats could go up?

i honestly doubt youd get flat out rejected....maybe from engineering though.. its tough at both

just improve, improve, improve and it would help a lot....i bet youll get in arts and sciences

well grades are p retty much set in stone, but yea its the one in austin for UT and the one in college station for A&M

bump plz!
10char

any more suggestions?

You in fact have an above average UT ACT. Get A's this semester.
