Does unused
Benaquisto scholarship money go to your bank account?
Depends on the school. It does at FSU. FSU takes out funds for tuition, on campus room, meal plan if you bought one, and then deposits the rest in the student’s checking account to use for books and other costs.
Great thanks! Do you know if this is the case for the University of Florida?

The schools have an order that they will apply scholarships/FPP money unless you tell them otherwise. So if you hve FPP and don’t want to use it, make sure they know that. If you have other money you want applied before Benacquisto money, let them know that too. Some money can only be applied to tuition, so you have to work with them if that’s the case.
That’s what I’ve heard but I have no direct experience with UF
My Econ teacher went to UF (he’s like 29 so still young) and his room mate got this scholarship or something similar and he got money to spend on books directly into his account, and he would only by used books so he would get to keep about $1k each semester or so.
UF "takes out funds for tuition, on campus room, meal plan if you bought one, and then deposits the rest in the student’s checking account to use for books and other costs. " Ditto!
