<p>Can any current EOP students describe the benefits that they have received from the program so far? I've visited their website, but some stuff were briefly written, so do elaborate if you can :)! I want to make the most out of the program if can :D! </p>

<p>What does 'extensive campus referral' mean?
"Students benefit from our various programs, services, and extensive campus referral network."</p>

<p>PS- Are there any scholarships available for EOP members? </p>

<p>The most helpful thing that EOP does for me is that they waive certain application fees around the university. Other than that, they don’t really do much. I guess you can use their counseling and tutoring but I never did.</p>

<p>Do you remember which application fees that you have waived thus far at Cal? Based on your post, I bet you’ve saved lots of $ through fee waivers :)!</p>

<p>I think you get your RSF fee waived…
but I love it for the priority spots on the waitlist for the coops. :D</p>

<p>Thanks for the response. From another thread, I heard that the EOP program may help you get into the Hass School of Business since they have a reference relationship. Is that true by any means?</p>

<p>EOP strikes me as one of the many college programs that exists for no other reason than self-perpetuation. It may have started with a good goal, but never really accomplished much, but now there are staff and offices committed to it, meaning the program can never end.</p>

<p>I think they’ll help you pay for GRE prep and test and maybe applications for grad school. I’m in the Miller Scholars Program for 1st gen low-income students and that’s what my teacher said but I haven’t checked into it directly yet.</p>

<p>I go to that same building for the SSS program. I get free printing, a place to study, and they served us food 2 night during finals week.</p>
