So, I am currently an LAC sophomore majoring in Political Science and Philosophy. I am basically complete with my Poli Sci major at the end of this year and my philosophy major will likely be complete at the end of Junior year. I'm not sure whether I devote senior year to another major which I'm interested in, or just chill! Does a triple major make one any more marketable? That is, if your grades are top notch?

If you can pull it off with no dip in your GPA, then fine.

I’ll put it this way, a law school will take a Poly Sci major with a 4.0 over a Poly Sci/History/Philosophy major with a 3.9.

However, if you have a 3.9 with three majors and the next guy has a 3.9 with one major, you’ll beat him.

TL;DR – It’s a soft factor. Only do it if it won’t bring your numbers down.

Not a factor. Could be a factor if you were majoring in something and science/engineering with the hopes of doing IP, but other wise there is no benefit to double/triple majors.

Your job would be to differentiate yourself from all of the other philosophy/poli sci/ history/name your popular majors.

Great advice, thank you for the help. I think I will be devoting time for the LSAT instead of this triple major.
