<p>I see little about Merit Aid on Bennington’s web site, except that they give it. I can’t even find a common data set for the school. Does anyone have any information? How much $, who gets it, etc. Thanks.</p>
<p>Yes, my daughter got a $12,500 a year merit scholarship. I can’t remember right now what the name of it was. This was several years ago and it may be more now. I don’t know why she got it. Her grades and scores were good, but not amazing. She had great extracurriculars, particularly in public service, sports, and dance. Bennington turned out to be a perfect fit, so I guess they knew what they were doing.</p>
