I am a mechanical engineering studnet
Right now i am enrolled in physics 7a math 1b and E10
I am also enrolled in R1A (6 unit) but every single time for R1A overlaps with my scheldule so i just signed up for the waiting list but its overlapping with my math 1b. I need to a back up class but i dont know which class to sign up
Can someone please help me. recommend me an easy class i can take. Should i take R1A or Math 1B first? How important is to pass R1A? is it true that you get kicked out if you dont pass R1A? So right now i only have three classes and i need one more class as i have said before.
so someone please recommend me a class to take as a backup and help me to decide rather to take math 1b or R1A!! pleasse helpp!!

You're an engineering major so take math 1B. It's more important for your prereqs. There will always be time to take R1A later (maybe sign up for it first next semester).
Also, even if the time conflicts, can't you still got to a different lecture? Just make sure it's not the discussion that conflicts.

I dunno a class to take up, because I'm not in COE. Just take something that fulfills some requirements you have.

You should take Math 1B. As for the R1A, you can take an easier class that fufills that requirement.

Hey fellow MEch E.

Yes, as an engineer prioritize in the m1b class. You will need it for physics and later for e7. As an advise, make sure that you review the math ab stuff in depth, because the 1b professor assumes you have just taken the 1a class.
To fill up the English requirement, i would recommend you to take other electives perhaps in the humanities list. One cool class i know is sociology 3ac, which satisfies the American Cultures requirement.

do math 1b. im not even planning on taking my r1b until senior year…it’s not liek they kick you if you dont do it IMMEDIATELY. math1b is more important since its prolly for ur major
