Need advice on my Mech E schedule.

So basically this is what happened:
I signed up for math 53 and phys 7a for the fall, realized I didn't need to take college so quickly, and dropped physics to take an english class. Now I can't sign up for an english class because according to the website i havent fulfilled the writing 1a requirement. Secondly, the poster said they said to wait till NEXT semester.

my previous schedule:

math 53
physics 7a
engineering 10
music 27

currently proposed schedule that doesnt work because of telebears:
math 53
engineering 10
rhetoric r1b
music 27

What do I do? Do i go back to the tough schedule I had before or take a bunch of decal and seminar or TWO humanities...

The second schedule just to be on the safe side. You don’t know how your exposure to Berkeley/being away from home is going to affect you. Also take an AC class if you cant get into r1b because you need to take one anyway. Try to find one that fulfills an hss requirement.

I actually fulfilled AC and AH through taking a class at a CC in my junior year that is equivalent to History 7B.

I just need American Institutions, which I have no idea what kind of class fulfills that. Theres no search button that says “look for classes that fulfill XXXXX” that I am aware of.

Thanks!

Alright, well there doesn’t seem to be anything else you can take. The first schedule isn’t bad if you’ve taken physics in high school. Otherwise find another humanities class to take.

you should consider taking physics 7A to get ur prereqs done with earlier. the physics 7 series aren’t much different from AP physics in high school.
