Berkeley ADMITTED as Environmental Economics and Policy Anybody???

i got into this major this year with a 3.67. I hear this major really looks at your application to see just how interested you are in environmental stuff. This can be clubs or even just what you put in your personal statement.

@ econeric: That makes me feel so much more relieved, you have no idea.

Hi, I am applying EEP at Cal this year. I was wondering if you know anything with this major and the average GPA for transfer student? I heard that there are lots of people applying this major this year?
Thank you.

I don’t know the average gpa but I am a transfer student this year who applied to EEP. This monday I received an email from Gail Vawter (head of EEP) congratulating me on my acceptance and telling me about the orientation. I’m not sure if this is official because on myBerkeleyapp it still says “In Review.”

@deckoturf, what was your GPA? If you don’t mind me asking.

I managed to attain a 3.83 GPA, but now I’m anxiously waiting. I didn’t get an email, though, which now makes me very nervous.

About a 3.9. I guess we’ll see what happens friday…

Hello everyone! It is now 2016 and I would like to bring life back to this post.
I am currently a student at a California JC looking to transfer to UC Berkeley as an EEP Major. I would love to hear anyone’s input who has recently applied or been accepted to UCB as an EEP Major. Any info such as GPA’s, Major impact rate, what traits they look for in applicants, all would be great info to get.
So please, if you have any information on the subject, fire away!
