I just heard someone mention the Berkeley Bake Sale, and apparently it's a big thing, but I've never heard of it, anyone know what it is?

They were selling cupcakes according to peoples race. Whites paid like $2 Asians paid $1 Blacks paid .75 and Natives paid .25 and women got a discount I think. It was supposed to correlate to the unfair prices people pay the go to college just because of their race.

Its funny that this makes the news, because its not a Berkeley-only type event. The University of Florida (and I’m sure other schools) have held very similar events through their Republican student organizations.
Oh and Hispanics payed $1.50

lol that’s funny, they seem right though, it’s not their beliefs, it’s the beliefs of colleges, which they are making fun of, I think everyone should pay equal, or if people are going to pay less or get in easier to college it shouldn’t be because of race, it should be because of background and family history, I know tons of rich black kids, who get an advantage because of their race which is pretty unfair.

It is not what you pay to go to college (financial aid is determined by parents incomes irrespective of race), it is more ‘affirmative action’ related.
“The bake sale was taking aim at Senate Bill 185, which would allow the universities in the California and California State systems to consider race, gender, ethnicity, and national origin in admissions”.
