CoC
CoE
....these are the main one I was thinking of applying

I know that CoE is the most selective (or rather the the one you hear most about).

How is the College of Chemistry in terms of selectivity (all the other ELC students I've talked to at school are applying to L&S)? Less people apply, but is it that less people are selected for the program?

I went with CoC (major Chemistry) because I love it !
My "I" essay (the longer one) is all about how chemistry has inspired me schoolwise and career wise
Most of ECs are Chemistry (Chemistry Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Chemical Lab Intern, Chemistry Network, ect.) with some other sprinked (PAL, GSA,ect.)

info…would really appreciate it

If you really love chemistry then you made the right decision in applying to the CoC. It’s slightly more selective than Letters and Science, but a lot easier than the COE.

I think you’d have a much better chance at both of them if you had a little more patience and learned to wait on the order of days instead of minutes before bumping.

If your stats are good (>4.0 GPA, >2100 SAT 1, >750 SAT 2s, 5s for APs), you should be in.

Seems like your essays and ECs show your love for chemistry so much that they’ll take you. Fewer people apply CoC, but fewer people get in. Personally, I think that CoC wants to carefully pick its undergrads to complement its amazing graduate program, but since I’m in CoC, I might be biased :P
