Berkeley Coops : July round

<p>Hello everyone ! I would like to have some feedbacks from those who know a little bit the waiting list system. I am currently waiting for a Fall assignment for the coops. I was quiet high in the list (<rank40), but I did not receive any offer during the June round. I have kept the same rank on the waiting list between early May (I applied in April) and today. </p>

<p>Moreover, they wrote by e-mail : </p>

<p>"We have made the third fall assignment and have 134 fall contracts due back by June 26, 2013. By the time we make another assignment in July, the summer people will have earned their ¾ point and will move up on the waiting list. It is likely that only summer people will receive fall offers between now and late August."</p>

<p>Does it mean that I will probably not have any chance to get a spot for Fall ?</p>

<p>Looking at the wait lists, it looks like even the usual easier to get into houses (CAZ, CLO, HOY, SHE, WAR) have people on the wait lists.</p>

<p>Note that the wait list is ordered by date of application after sorting by other priorities (e.g. BSC point priority).</p>
