<p>Anyone have any idea what the deal is for setting up a berkeley email address? When are we able to do all that? Anyone got any good links or info?</p>

<p>I had to pay the $100 SIR fee and wait 48 hrs before I could register an email account. All the info was provided on my MyBerkeleyApp checklist.</p>

<p>It's been over 48 hours since I payed my $100, though my card has yet to be charged. My SIR payment is checked off and when I click on it is states "Thank you! Your SIR Fee credit card payment has been received." Has your card been charged yet?</p>

<p>Also, what category on the list is the email thing in? I'm just a tad confused and any help is greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>thanks for the help nicopico, the link you posted says i gotta wait 72 hours after i submitted my SIR. so in a couple days i'm sure i'll be up and running. i'm just impatient.</p>

<p>ha, whats that, 9 BUSINESS days? i hope not. the site says:</p>

<p>"New students will be added to our database of registered students within 72 hours of submitting their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR)."</p>

<p>sounds like 3 days to me.</p>
