Has anyone been emailed by Berkeley asking for fall/winter transcripts or anything like that?

I forgot to add them to my contact list for my email and the emails they send me may be going to my bulk/junk mail. Kinda freaking out.

I haven’t gotten an email asking for transcripts, but I got the email for the update in January.
I also haven’t gotten the email for Cal day yet either. :c

yeah i got the email in January but after that i changed my email address and i forgot to add them to my contact list so i was just wondering if i missed something.

Do UCs even ask for transcripts before you’ve been admitted? I’ve honestly never heard of that before.

Normally they don’t but i think i heard some people being asked by UCI or UCR for their Fall/Winter unofficial transcripts.

For some reason, i have a feeling Cal doesn’t even read applications until April 1st because it says you can make changes to their supplementary application until April 1st (but it is not guaranteed that Cal will receive the update)

@talebi818, i thought Berkeley and UCLA starts reading transfer apps around mid-march, right after the freshman batch?

I think you are right but for Haas supp. applications, it says we can make corrections/edits before April 1st.

But don’t worry about that, it’s just my paranoia that is leading me to believe that they sent out some important email and i missed up so now im screwed but apparently they haven’t sent anything to anybody.

@talebi818, so far neither Berkeley or UCLA sent me an email asking me for sending in unofficial transcripts.

What are your stats talebi818, my stats are psych major to Berkeley/UCLA and human development to UC Davis with a 3.84 gpa. Non stop 4.0 semesters since fall 2008.

i have a 3.68 (non uc courses included) and 3.76 (UC courses only)

I have 73 UC units and 82 units including the non-credited ones and I’m a 2 year applicant so my grade trend is not like yours but each semester i have added more units while keeping a 3.6-3.7 per semester (21 units last fall semester alone and 14 during 5 week summer session) According to Haas, they take course load into consideration (as well as grade trends) so i focused on course load then trying to stay at my CC for 3 years while shooting for 3.8 and having a 4.0 grade trend.

talebi818- are you applying for haas this fall 2011 semster?

yup

are you?

Nope, I am a psychology major or human development depending on where I go

Have you applied anywhere?

yea, psych major to Berkeley/UCLA and human development to UC Davis

I am worried about you pinoiako. I thought you would get an email from berkeley so you can explain your situation.

@nero103, about what? They dont ask unofficial transcripts for every applicant though.

but you need to explain your situation to everyone. you know, your grade trends etc. it’s really important for you to make sure that the admission committee knows about that stuff.

I told that on my application already when i initially turned it in however, UCLA sent me an email checking to see if one of my EC’s are true. I faxed them a letter from my supervisor, and a time card showing proof that I volunteer there right after I got that email.

^ when did that happen?

around two weeks ago.
