Same. I've heard this year was the worst weather in 20, 50, and even someone said 100 years.

Rain will be fun. I can just imagine the Berkeley campus in rain...I'll run into the University Library, dry off, and crack open a nice book. Ahh, that's the life.

Am I weird or what? :o

no its not werid...nothing wrong with reading.

Berkeley IS gorgeous. Love love love it.

Just curious, what kind of clothing do people wear in the winter at Cal? I mean, it's pretty close to the Bay, so it must be relatively cold.

meh, it's not that cold...rainy, but not that cold. I'm from LA, and I only wear a little more than I did in LA. But you'll always want to bring an extar layer with you

I kinda like the rain; I was sad to find out that this year was unusual.

The rain is a good change of pace, because it's bone dry in Berkeley for about 7 months a year on a typical year, and because it turns the hills and contryside green.

It's 45-60 degrees in winter at Berkeley, not cold enough to wear gloves or a heavy coat. The tricky part is in the summer, when the weather often goes fom something like 58 at dawn to 72 and sunny in midafternoon. Think layers.
