Berkeley L&S (pre-Haas) vs Cornell Dyson (AEM)

Hi, Cornell offered me a Transfer Option, which allows me to transfer to Cornell in my sophomore year. Do you guys think I should stay at Berkeley or transfer to Cornell?

What are the requirements to transfer (GPA, etc.)?

Cost at each?

What is your preference between Cornell AEM, Berkeley business, and Berkeley some other major if not admitted to business?

The requirement is a 3.5 gpa.

Cost is not a deciding factor. Also, I’m OOS for Berkeley, so the cost difference with Cornell is not that big.

I like Cornell AEM and Berkeley Haas almost equally; however, I would rather go to Cornell AEM if I don’t get into Haas.

If you are guaranteed AEM and sure about b-school, go there if you have the opportunity. Why wait to see if you get in to Haas (which you would apply for a year later) in that case?

In any case, you have no decision to make now.
