So I realized that the College of Letters and Sciences have requirements for Quantitative Reasoning, and that either we take 2 semesters worth of some math class here at Berkeley, or we can use SAT Math of 600+ to fulfill this requirement.

The thing is, I HATE math, and I never want to deal with again. For the SAT (Highest Sitting) score I sent to Berkeley, I sent in a 580 for SAT math. However for one of the other SAT's that was not my highest sitting, I scored a 600 in math, which BARELY qualifies to fulfill the QR requirement.

However, will Berkeley let me use that 600 Math score even though it's not the "Highest sitting" score that I sent in to Berkeley for admissions?

I'm aware that Berkeley gets to see ALL my SATs since I sent all of them to it. So hopefully they will accept that other test?

It does not mention that the SAT score needs to be in the highest single sitting. Also, you don’t have to take two semesters of college courses if you did not fulfill it with test scores; you just need to take at least one two unit college course of the specified types. If you are not sure, ask L&S.

Knowledge of statistics is generally useful, so you may want to take an introductory statistics course anyway. Some social studies departments have their own quantitative methods courses for their majors.
