<p>Do any of you know what the chances of getting the internship are? Is it really competative? It is really hard to make any summer plans not knowing until May 22! If you have any info please let me know. Thanks!</p>
<p>We went through this rig-ma-role two years ago and it was very frustrating. Not only were we not able to make any alternative summer plans but we were constantly told we were moving forward in the process and should know soon. So we made no more plans. This went on for two more months. We were told it was down to finding the right lab for my son and to just hold on a little longer. Anyway, at the very last minute they said forget it he was not chosen. I think these people are incredibly rude to string people along and totally unorganized. Unless you have a family business to work for, May 22 is totally unacceptable</p>

<p>im feeling a bit strung along, as im going to have to turn down an offer to stay out in the Kodiak Wildlife Refuge in Alaska this summer if i do the blips internship, and i still dont have confirmation that im going to get the internship 
oh well…</p>
<p>How would they go about reinforcing their “decision binding” policy? Track you down and throw you into their lab?
Because honestly, this policy of theirs is ridiculous if they’re going to keep you waiting until May 29 etc.</p>

<p>I got a call today. I’m wondering when they send you the package? I have one week before school ends and this late notification was pretty exasperating. Still, I’m happy.</p>
<p>Hey for everyone that went…what did they have you do? From the application I thought this program would be really prestigious and intense, but then I heard otherwise when I was browsing around, so I’d like to know.</p>
