Berkeley Political Science

Hello,

I am a Political Science major that will be planning to be at Berkeley for the Fall 2010 semester. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend CalSO; therefore, I was wondering if another Political Science major who attended CalSO could walk me through what occurred at the orientation through e-mail or a messenger and which courses are required. I would really appreciate it!

Thank you very much!

Hey, when I went the 24th, Every class was filled so they had to create two new classes for us to take, and you don’t have a choice. So I would phase 1 those classes now if i were you. It was really upsetting that the classes are in such a state.
Also make sure you declare the major because the classes won’t be open to you before that.

These are the advisors, talk to them, they are very strict, but nice.

@MortimerC what political science classes were open to you?

Unfortunately, it seems like I would be able to attend a declaration session at the start of the fall semester. I am hoping to plan to enroll in Political Science 3 and Political Science 4. I am also hoping to enroll in an upper division Political Science course, and perhaps take an upper division course for Sociology. Would that be possible?

Thanks!
