If I am an intended political science major, which courses should i take my freshman year[Fall/Spring]? Any suggestions? And if you could, could you tell me the courses you took if you're a PoliSci major? And also I'm in the FPF program.

On another note, When should i start interning for law personnels? Or when should i start gaining experience while attending school?

Have you gone to CalSO yet? Or even completed the online orienteering? If not, it will help. The links are available on the My Berkeley App site.

You need to take 3 poli sci classes to declare the major (from what I remember).

Nico-
No i haven’t done the “orienteering”, i didnt know i could =/
Where in MyBerkApp is the “orienteering” at? Because i dont recall ever having come upon a link that said anything resembling that.

Since i already signed up for my courses for this sem. if i do 2 poli sci course next sem, can i then declare my major?

The above is the link…I’m so sorry for getting back at you late, just noticed you replied…I hope this helps

In order to declare the major, you have to take four mandatory classes…when you’re complete with the orienteering, you’ll find out. Also: here’s a link to [Undergraduate Major - Political Science, UC Berkeley](http://polisci.berkeley.edu/ugrad/requirements-Fall2008-later.htm) to the poli sci department link which tells you what classes you have to take in order to declare the major. So basically you have to take 2 intro poli sci classes, 1 poli sci 3 class which is mandatory for all, and a history class
