Thank you for any assistance you can provide! I appreciate it greatly.

Unless things have gotten insanely competitive since I was in school 4 years ago you will get into both.

If you need to choose between the two I recommend UCLA :)

Best of luck to you!

if you’re going to study a science related field, then your chances are decent for berkeley, assuming you have A’s/A-'s and a few B+'s or B’s in there. not taking bio hn in freshman year was a mistake, but ap bio probably more than makes up for it. you have a good shot at both

UCLA: Low Match
UC Berkeley: Match

Let me give you some real life stats.
Last year, my son, from OOS, got into UCLA, but was rejected at Berkeley

2300 SAT
3.7 unweighted gpa
14 AP classes
not much in the way of ECs.

Don’t forget about UCSD and UCSB.

As UCLA and Berkeley become harder to get into, those schools become the next options.

Don’t let peoples’ replies discourage you; I think your stats are amazing. I believe you’ll be able to receive acceptance to both UCLA & UCB. My own list of accomplishments is similar to yours, and I’ve been accepted to UCB and waitlisted to UCLA. That may sound slightly disconcerting, because UCB is ranked higher than UCLA, but UCLA gets many more applicants than UCB, so its acceptance rate is impacted. I would encourage you to apply to both UCs, and keep 2 UCs as backups (mine were UCSD, UCD, & UCI, which I did receive acceptances from.) Seniors’ chances are diminishing because every applicant is upping his academic & extra-curricular level of achievement. I would encourage you to apply as early as possible and hone your essays to be unique & astonishing. Good luck! I’m sure you will fare well. :)
