Berkeley/UCLA FA sucks.

Berkeley: Match
UCLA: Match
Stanford: Reach

I think Tulane is doable at the match level, if OOS is part of what you want; half-ride in merit aid plus the possibility of completing the full-ride in grants, with minimal loans. And Alabama at the safety level.

Berkeley & UCLA are matches, Stanford a reach

bump for info

Woah, your stats are very similar to mine. I’m also low-income, and interested in Stanford, but black. I think you should try to become president of some clubs, it helps. I agree that Stanford is a reach but Berkeley and UCLA are easy matches. UC schools are terrible for FA, so you should look into Ivies and other schools that offer full-rides. I also suggest Questbridge, it’s a great program for low-income students, and can hook you up with some terrific schools.
