I just got my scores back and need to retake act. What are some books that you all would recommend? I have the official red book and the Princeton review 1296 questions. I need to focus a lot on the math and reading, those were my weakest scores.

Get the “Cracking the ACT” Princeton book.

The thing to do is take a lot of practice tests. I used McGraw’s 10 ACT Practice Tests and it worked very well. A lot of people here consider it to be easier than the actual test. Most other prep books are actually harder than the test, which is good in theory, but it reality it makes one study for another test. I scored higher than my “inflated” practice test in the book, so go figure.
