One of the new UCLA ones....Hedrick Summit is really nice.....i love how the suites are set up there also.

Yeah, redski59, that's GW. I actually lived there freshman year and it is very nice for a dorm. (Plus, I lived just down the hall from the room where the Watergate burglars stayed and as a history major that was pretty cool.) But now that dorm's future is in doubt because it is not on campus and by law the university now has to have all its freshman on campus. But upperclassmen don't want to live there because it is all doubles and triples and doesn't have kitchens. So who knows what will happen? It's a shame though.

My favorite things about the GW dorms is private bathrooms. Since several of the buildings used to hotels, every room has its own bathroom. I've never had to have a communal one, though I probably will in grad. school next year.

UMiami is ok. I did a summer program there and my dorm wasn't TOO bad except that we blew the electricity out every time we plugged in our hair dryers. My room was huge too, with a really nice closet/ sliding door set up.

Our dorm also had a bathroom every 2 rooms which was nice... only problem was the entire bathroom got SOAKED after a shower and the showers are tiny and made for really short people- which I am so that was good. And my room looked right into the other side of the dorm and the blinds kind of made it look creepy and prison like (because no one was there).

But those aren't the freshman dorms typically. I didn't get to see those. The campus itself is really pretty anyway.

Beautiful place... nice dorms, awesome football team

what about colgate, hopkins and rochester?
