<p>I'm taking the following AP classes next year as a junior and I was wondering what AP books you would recommend for each? Reasons why or why not would be great.</p>
<p>AP Physics
AP English Language
AP Statistics
AP Psychology</p>
<p>Don’t know about english language and physics but Barron’s psychology is good (from various friends who took the test), and i thought 5 steps to a 5 for stats was very helpful. I’ve heard the Barron’s book is o.k. for stats but its a pretty straightforward test and you will learn most of the information in your class.</p>

<p>Princeton review is pretty good for psychology as well (i used it to help me with a community college class). I don’t think there would be a huge difference between Princeton Review and Barron’s being that they both just list out basic facts about psychology, but the only thing that kind of ****ed me off about pr is the fact that it had no index so I couldn’t look up specific things right away for an essay. Studying with either one will probably still get you a 5.</p>

<p>I have a similar question: Is Barron’s good for the Econ tests?</p>
<p>I took both econ classes this year, my teacher was amazing (80%+ of his students get 5’s) and he told us NOT to use the AP books. Total waste of $</p>
<p>buying the econ books was the best decision i ever made in my life… maybe you have John Maynard Keynes as your teacher, but not all of us do so I’d suggest 5 steps to a 5… like highly reccomend it!</p>
<p>Cliffs is good for AP Language (Literature too) but if you’re good at English you might not need a prep book at all. Using a combination of the AP Central essays and the practice multiple choice in the AP English course description might be better for you, depending on what kind of prep you need.</p>

<p>trueee, I did 2 tests in cliffs and read like 10 essays, I think I did okay</p>
<p>For Language, if you’re a decent writer, can do a DBQ like essay, and can read and understand passages from all of English, old stuff and new stuff. You should be fine. Honestly the only things I learned in my class were logical fallacies, how to write FAST, and a couple of syntax terms. If you have a decent class you should be fine, just practice. </p>
<p>Psych. Barron’s, my class was good, but didn’t cover some of the terms, this covers almost everything.</p>
<p>MalikaPotter and Jackyt- Yeah I’ve heard the AP English Teacher is pretty good but English isn’t my best subject, so I’m looking for a good supplement. Thanks!</p>
<p>Barron’s for AP Lang (I borrowed this just to practice some MC, and it is harder than the real test so it’s good preparation. The MC for this is really easy though. The Barron’s also has some useful tips for the essay but if you are a good writer you should be fine).

<p>Psychology - REA (Crash Course) / Barron’s is the common consensus.</p>
<p>Statistics - Barron’s is what I’ve heard, but haven’t taken it.</p>
<p>Language - No clue, check the consolidated book list, there’s supposed to be a really good textbook.</p>

<p>Barron’s is really good for psych. I’m not really sure if you need a review book for Lang.</p>
