best review book for AP Physics 1?

hi all,

for those of you who have taken AP Physics 1 (or B, whatever its called), which test prep book did you think was the best? I'm looking to buy mine soon and use it as a supplemental resource as I take the class throughout the year.

thanks in advance!

Bump

im using http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/ap-physics-1-essentials-dan-fullerton/1116399273?cm_mmc=google+product+search-_-q000000633-_-9780983563365pla-_-book_15to24-_-q000000633-_-9780983563365&ean=9780983563365&isbn=9780983563365&kpid=9780983563365&r=1

It’s the only review book besides 5 steps to a 5 (which is awful and I would never recommend it) available right now. Princeton review comes out in January, and that will probably be good. 5 steps is very brief, and for a brand new exam youre going to want a more thorough book like the one I linked, or you can wait until january for the PR.

@giraffeinatree‌, how would you rate the book you are using right now from 0-10, and why?

Also, would PR be worth the wait, or should I go with the one by Dan Fullerton which is out right now?

Sorry for the late reply, but I think the one I have now is ALRIGHT. Probably a 6 on a scale of 1-10, its a bit wordy and its explanations arent always clear but its a very good supplement to class. Better than 5 steps though. 5 steps is extremely brief. If you plan on using it throughout the year get the Dan fullerton one, otherwise wait for PR which I imagine will be better. PR usually is pretty good in physics.

Okay, I will just wait for PR  Thank you so much, @giraffeinatree‌ !

just so you know. Dan Fullerton is a teacher who has a 100% 4-5 rate. He also has his own website and youtube videos that are very helpful. He also has a video lecture series on educator.com that is top notch and probably compliments the book alot.
