What's the best SAT II book to prepare for the literature test?

honestly, you can't study for that test. but if you'd like to feel better, get anything but barrons. the thing about the test is that you don't need to know any vocab or stuff like that. those books are only good for skimming over at the store and putting them right back on the shelf...

I have the PR book and it's pretty good...

Barron's actually wasn't bad as long as you know what to skip (which is admittedly well over half). It helped me pretty well.

When taking the practice tests, I thought barrons was really bad, but I got a 760, so maybe not.

I would just take as many practice tests as possible to get a feel for the literary passages and the kinds of questions they ask. The book probably doesn't matter much.

Why is Barron's so bad? I bought it today. :)

cuz it gives u A LOT of useless information which the test never asks. just skip the whole information section and do the practise tests. or else do CR SATI test- i think they are both basically the same, except in lit theres some random passages on obscure poems that u cant understand...
