I know there are there numerous threads on this, but I really need an updated version. Please don't get angry about this thread. But I want to know if there is any book or site that really improves grammar. MC not essay. Is Sparknotes the best? Should I read a grammar book?

My practice test scores are:

Math: 75
Reading:77
Writing:63

I need to get that writing for up for NMSF.

Texas' cutoff can range from 215-219, so 215 is not good enough.

Barrons is pretty indepth but honestly just keep on practicing… they test you over the same grammar concepts time and time again

I’ve tried many vocab lists, from McGrawhill to PR to my tutor’s lists, but Barron’s vocab lists are hands down the best. I don’t know if the list is still in the current edition, but they had a comprehensive list in my old 2003 edition. I used to photocopy those words and study them whenever there was time at school… yeah, my friends made fun of me, but it was worth it. Scored a 2270 in the end.

Vocab lists? I’m not really talking about Critical Reading.
