Best books for an 800?

Hello all.

I am aiming to get an 800 in SAT II US History, Biology, and Math Level 2.

Any suggestions on the best books to get an 800? So far I've heard that Barrons and Princeton Review are in general the best.

Thanks!

I REALLY like Crash Course for US but that was pretty much just to review after I had already taken the APUSH exam. Math Level II I really like Barrons.

Math Level II > McGrawHill for learning, Barrons for reviewing

I used Barron. It is harder than the actual test but it lets you relax in the real test.

My son got all 800’s by studying college textbooks for fun for years and of course taking IB courses. Math 2onlyand goes through Precal, so go tutor someone else through the topic and you should be set. Not sure about the history test, but find out what it covers and then get some books out of the library that cover those topics.

I used Kaplan’s history book for the May 5th test. It was amazing, many of the questions were similar to its practice tests. It’s also an easy read, I definitely recommend it.

Biology- Princeton
Math 2- Barrons

I’ve heard that PR doesn’t go as in-depth for Biology. I ordered Barron’s the other day–should I get PR as well? I have CliffsAP and am currently taking AP Bio.

never buy PR book for Biology

if you have cliffsAP and Barrons it will be super fine on test.

Thanks. How are the Sparknotes tests?
