Does anyone have suggestions for a great place for a midweek brunch in Durham?

We will be meeting up with friends, each family doing college visits over spring break -- and brunch seems to be our only option for a meal. I've been checking Tripadvisor and Guglhupf Cafe seems highly rated. Are there other places we should consider?

Mad Hatter’s near Duke East Campus is always delicious
Foster’s Market - closer to Chapel Hill, but very popular
Watt’s Grocery - fantastic, homemade, locally grown food

I would say that Guglhupf is not a restaurant on Duke students’ radars, as I’ve never heard of it before.

Watts, Mad Hatter’s, and Foster’s are the most frequented places, with Mad Hatter’s usually catering to the downtown Durham business crowd (and the occasional Duke student who lives on East Campus), and Foster’s being more of a family place, with great outdoor seating.

Elmo’s Diner on 9th Street! Great food, great atmosphere. Close to East Campus, so a big hit with students. It’s always packed on the big weekends (Homecoming, Alumni weekend, Parent’s weekend, etc).
