My school has prevented me from double majoring in these two fields becuase it would require more than 144 total units and they have a policy that disallows a undergraduate student from tallying more before they graduate.

So I am currently double majoring in Finance/MIS instead. Is this wise? Are there any better alternatives? I am just talking in general here and degrees within the business school

I heard accounting/finance is good too.

I don’t think Finance and MIS mix quite as well as Accounting and MIS. Is it possible to major in MIS and minor in Accounting?

no they dont let you minor in another business option sadly.

Is MIS/Finance really not a good fit together? Should i just drop the whole double major and go with accounting? Im at a state school so i worry about being able to land a job with degrees that dont have high demand…since i will have to compete with grads from usc ucla etc…being in the LA area.
