Best Cal State's for engineering?

Hi everyone!
I am not familiar enough with the Cal State universities, however, as I am looking where to apply in their system, I would like to make a smart choice. That is the reason on why I am asking for your help, as I know that many of you are far more experienced that I am. To specify the type of engineering, I would like to know more about electrical engineering. Thank you!

CalPoly SLO

Cal Poly SLO
Cal Poly Pomona
CSU Long Beach
CSU Fullerton
CSU San Jose

San Luis Obispo is the top among Cal States… Long Beach is second in a few rankings.

Cal Poly SLO would be the top Cal State but depending upon which Engineering major you plan to pursue, acceptance rates range from less than 10% up to 40% depending upon major. CS/ME/BME are the most competitive.

I would also look at San Diego State, Cal State Long Beach, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Fullerton and San Jose State.

Thank you so much!! It has really helped.

It is easy to talk in the abstract about ‘best’ but, honestly all the schools listed above are pretty selective. They mat or may not be appropriate for you.

What are your qualifications?

Also consider if the programs are ABET accredited. Accredited programs are required to teach similar courses at each school, so you basically would be getting the same instruction no matter where you go.
