hello

i am mohamed from egypt i have sat test in 9 oct. and i want to know what is the best calculator using for SAT l Math

A scientific calculator would suffice for SAT 1. Try Casio or Texas Instruments or any popular brand in your country.A specific model isn’t required,a simple scientific would do the trick.

What the deuce? I thought we could use graphing calculators for the SAT I.

^Oh, you can. In fact, you can use a graphing calculator with a Computer Algebra System. But a scientific would suffice.

scientific is good.

My son got a 720 on the math SAT using a TI 83+ and he thought that the graphing function was helpful on a number of the problems. Casio also makes well regarded scientific and graphing calculators which are permitted for the SAT.

I think your biggest problem is that time is growing short and you should buy the calculator you plan to use now because if it is going to help you, whatever make you decide on, you really need to be familiar with using it. Two weeks is not a long time when it comes to becoming really proficient with an unfamiliar scientific or graphing calculator. You do not want to be fumbling around trying to figure out which key to press to do a certain operation in the middle of the test. Buy the calculator now and spend the next two weeks reading the manual and practicing with it to the point where the calculator is practically an extension of your hand and brain.

moramo, changing your calculator wont raise your score by 100 points in SAT. lol

agreed. but they have this amazing new calculator out called the TI inspire

its actually a m a z i n g

^I actually think it’s a pain in the ass to use.

seriously? it looks really cool. and u can even email documents with it!

nspire is a pain in the ass. TI 84 ftw!

TI-84 Silver Edition. Mm.

haha im old school. i have the ti 83

hollerrrr

Oh, I know. But have you tried using one?

I’m a TI-84 SE and TI-89 Titanium person. I really can’t pick which one I like more.

LOL
