<p>I have U.S. Cellular with a smartphone right now, but US Cellular isn’t in Tuscaloosa, so I’m forced to switch.
I’m leaning towards an iPhone, so the servicers I’m considering are Verizon, AT&T, and Virgin Mobile.
Verizon and AT&T are fairly similar (at least in the Midwest) in price and performance.
VM is MUCH cheaper than either of those, but I don’t know their performance level. </p>
<p>There was a thread on this in 2011 but I thought I’d update it, as Verizon didn’t even have the iPhone then!</p>
<p>Both kids are going to college in areas where US Cellular doesn’t have coverage, so we switched them to Verizon. Their customer service is rated better than ATT. Not a big fan of US Cellular. Hopefully Verizon is better.</p>
<p>Both AT&T and Verizon work well in Ttown. AT&T is a Crimson Tide sponsor so it goes out of its way to make sure there are extra towers and better coverage during high populated game days. </p>
<p>AT&T does have the best 4G.</p>
<p>TMobile works ok, too. All 3 have stores on McFarland.</p>
