<p>Hi! D will be starting MHC this Sept. We are wondering which cell phone service is best on campus and in the area. </p>
<p>This question was answered a year ago and we are wondering if things have changed.</p>

<p>T-MOBILE sucks around that area, point blank.</p>
<p>Verizon. And since a substantial number of students also use Verizon, cell to cell calls are free to more students.</p>
<p>We had no problems with AT&T, even in old buildings.</p>
<p>Verizon does not get service in the basement of Blanchard (a lot of my friends have Verizon). AT&T gets service everywhere on campus.</p>

<p>I haven’t had a problem in the cafe or the foosball/pool table areas. Different brands of phones, or even different models within the same brand, can have vastly different reception capabilities. That could explain the discrepancy.</p>
<p>Edit: On second thought, having a new iPhone would be fun. ;)</p>

<p>Would T-Mobile work better in the dorms? Vanessaaa, When you say “that area,” what do you mean? I have a T-Mobile and there is no possible way I am swtiching to another network just because it sucks in that area. Also, Vanessaaa, when you said, “T-Mobile sucks in that area” what do you mean?</p>
