What would be my best option for an international relations program:

Georgetown?
George Washington?
American?
USC?
U of the Pacific?

Any others to consider?
Thanks

Add Johns Hopkins. It has a separate campus called the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in D.C., and is one of the most prestigious IR programs in the country.

Among your list, Georgetown, American, and George Washington all have really good IR programs as well.

Also look at Tufts; they have a good IR program as well.

University of Maryland

Take a look at Syracuse University.

i'm going to american next year. it has a really good program and it isn't as hard as like g-town or GW. i'd def do a DC school if u want to get a job right out of college b/c of all the great internships. american has a whole student office devoted to internships and also if u want to travel- one of the best study abroad programs in the nation.

g-town is prestigious if u can get in and want that higher level school.
GW and american are about the same, GW is bigger and a city campus where american is a residential campus in NW DC minutes away from downtown. GW is bigger and american is relatively small. american is the only one with an actual school devoted to IR. (that i'm in ED :) the school of international service)
