What are the best classes to fulfill the AC requirement? I have no idea what class to choose so i was wondering what classes you felt you learned something while having fun and earning a high grade?

if you like environmental science enjoyed US History where you learned about the flipside of history (e.g. taking over the natives’ land, the use and abuse of land through farming, etc) then ESPM 50AC is an 60-80% A class that requires little work and has a pretty good professor. If you don’t like overly easy class (haha… there are some of you out there), or are conservative / don’t care about “hippie” stuff then don’t bother with the class.

Anthro 2AC is also a good class because it covers a breadth and AC requirement, so that helps, but I’m not sure if it is super easy or anything

ESPM 50AC is a great class, it covers several different breadths (though you can only use it for one of the seven breadth)

It covers Historical Studies, Philosophy & Values, or Social & Behavioral Sciences

Yea, definitely try and take a course that covers AC and breadth requirement.

I couldn’t find a class I liked, so I talked to a CalSO counselor and we were able to find an AC class that was a prereq for my major. So if you can’t find a class you like, at least you can kill two birds with one stone. With your major or breadth.

Does anyone have any experience with Earth and Planetary Science 170?
