Keep in mind that I am a senior (my schooling will be finished in December, so I will be applying this December to most schools).
This means that I only have around 6 months left, so books aimed at younger kids will be no use to me, though I don't know which those ones are.
My aim is to go to Stanford for Computer Science or Symbolic Systems.
Also considering USC, would be aiming for a full ride scholarship there.
SAT I, 2340.
SAT 2 Math2 and Physics - will take in October

I am considering buying some of the following books. Which ones are suited to my situation, and which ones are not needed (given my status as a senior, aimed colleges, or the books I already own)?

Of the books you purchased already, which is most useful?

To be perfectly honest, you have already spent too much money on books. None of these are written specifically for an international applicant, and you will be lucky if they even have a couple of paragraphs devoted to your issues. The best help for you is offered by live human beings at the closest office of EducationUSA. There are several in Australia: [EducationUSA - Find an Advising Center](http://www.educationusa.info/Australia) Don’t be afraid of using their resources! These advisors are the experts at helping students educated in Australia find good places to study in the US.

Three other resources worth exploring include:
- The specific college/university forums here at CC
- The International Student forum here at CC (there is even one monstrously long thread devoted to Australian issues)
- Your target colleges/universities - it is OK to ask the International Student offices and the Admissions offices if they can put you in touch with any Australians who are currently studying there

Yes, you can do your best to package yourself in such a way as to improve your chances of admission to your target colleges/universities, but you need to know that there is no way that you can guarantee that admission. One more book, or a dozen, will not lock in the admission you want.
