best college house?

What's your favorite college house and why...?

I am definitely favoring something in the quad (which quad houses are the best?), but if there is a great one outside I'd definitely check it out as well.

Advice?

Shoot for quad first, then go for Hill.

Which would you say are the best quad houses? And are you saying I should try to get in the quad freshman year and then apply for Hill later? if so why shouldnt I try to stay in the quad is it weird for other than freshman to be there or something?

Thanks :D

no, he means that you should try for quad first (all 3 houses are the same, no big difference), and otherwise hill

but all of these are freshman-dominated - some upperclassmen live in quad, but practically no freshmen live in hill

That’s weird, in the housing brochure I got it specifically says “predominantly freshman House that is largely run by students.” I’m confused haha.

Also, are there any significant differences in the houses at the quad that I should choose one over the other, or does it really not matter?

oh whoops i meant “practically no upperclassmen” - but i’m sure you figured that out

and yeah it really doesn’t matter between quad houses

Alright thanks  When the Fisher house says it has an “exercise center” is it a significant one or just a small little thing?

I think Fisher is def. the best! and it says something like some fisher suites have private bathrooms, so that’s a plus. and it has a good politics residential program i think, which is a plus if youre in to that… But I still don’t get the substance-free living thing… I hope that’s only a population/section within the house and not the whole house

^^^^ well the houses are mostly freshman where everyone is a minor so that’s probably why

yeah I know but on the college house descriptions, it said specifically that fisher (not the others) is oriented that way…? not sure.
