What are some good college options for a degree in Finance?
Baruch, Cornell, Michigan State, NYU, UMichigan, UC-Berkeley. This is more of a sampling of the range of schools that would be excellent for finance than a recommended list. For actual recommendations, you would have to specify additional criteria of importance to you.
Wharton, Stern, Sloan, Ross…
What would my options look like with these achievements:
-3.4 gpa
- 31 ACT composite score
-above average essays
-first person in family to go to college
-Involved in many sports and class president
A 3.4 GPA would eliminate top schools like the ones mentioned above. except Baruch.

Your GPA will keep you out of many schools, including ones that give the best aid. Merit will also be iffy.
What is your WEIGHTED GPA?
What is your home state?
How much will your parents pay each year?
Sloan School of Management
Take a look at the University of Dayton. They’re entrepreneurship degree is very good. And you would get some merit aid there. https://www.udayton.edu/apply/undergraduate/affordability.php
