Schools for Finance with 3.4 GPA and 2160 SAT

Hello,

I'm looking for a good range of schools that I can get into for Finance specifically. I'm very interested in becoming an I-banker out of college or doing something with investments. I like schools in big cities with great job outlook. I am applying to Carlson(U MN), Stern and maybe Wharton. Any other suggestions?

Stats:

3.4 UW GPA(2.9 Freshman, 3.4 Soph, 3.4 Junior, 3.8 Senior)
2150 SAT(720 CR, 720 M, 720 W)
SAT II: US History 680, Math II 700
6 APS, 7 Honors. As rigorous as I could make it since I had scheduling conflicts with my world language.
Senior year course load: 3 APs and 1 Honors out of 6

ECS
* Freelance work doing online marketing. Clients include plastic surgeons, lawyers and million dollar companies.
* Started my own business doing online marketing. Profitable with 6 clients @ $500 a month. Started in June of this year
*Started business selling money in video games. Little profit then failed. Wrote about it in my essay.

Other
*Essays are very good from what I hear from students at top U's.
*Letters are from AP teachers and they both liked me a lot. I also did very well in their classes.

URM(Black Male), <35k family income for family of 6. I go to an OK public high; our school sends 20 kids to USNWR top 100. Most people apply to state colleges

You might get in to Stern but you’d be full pay. Obviously you can’t afford $60K+/year. What is your home state? You should look at the threads at the top of the Financial Aid forum for Full Tuition Scholarships.

Well, thinking about being close to NY- being the centre of US finance- how about the following? Some of them might be a good choice if you’re chasing financial aid because of your grades:

Manhattanville College, Purchase
Marymount Manhattan, NYC
SUNY College at Westbury
Fairleigh Dickinson University, College at Florham

Check out WP Carey Business school at ASU. Although ASU itself isn’t the best, the business program is nationally and globally ranked. The cost is low compared to other business schools, but even so, over 80% of students at ASU are on some type of financial aid.

3.4 UW GPA(2.9 Freshman, 3.4 Soph, 3.4 Junior, 3.8 Senior)

Have you already graduated? If not, how do you have that GPA for senior year? Seems like the cum GPA may not be right.

Have you considered Emory?

Look into Fordham (Gabelli Business School) if you want to be in NYC.
