Does anybody know the best colleges for International Relations major. Also does that college have a minority department so I could get into it with an academic scholarship. I need colleges that have a minority department, and give scholarships/grants. Dankie--->Thank you in Afrikaans(language in South Africa)

For international relations I'd recommend Tufts, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, Brown, Mount Holyoke and there are others I'm sure people will cover. As for "minority departments" I'm not so sure, but I think all of those schools would be generous if your academics were excellent and your financial situation very unstable. Are you international--or do you have US citizenship? That unfortunately factors in as well.

Macalester College in MN has a very strong focus on internationalism (the secretary general of the UN graduated from here). Over 80 countries are represented through international students. As someone trying to transfer AWAY, however, I do caution you that it is overwhelming liberal and tends to assume that all students ascribe to the majority idealogy. If that doesn't bother you, then it'd probably be a good choice.

I have U.S citizenship, I have been living in columbus ohio for 4years now...
