Best colleges that combine the college experience with prestige?

Yes, University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, which is actually now my top choice university. I also would say other big ten universities.

IBClass06, that Crimson article is definitely correct. Less than 20% of the kids at Wharton study abroad, and for the same reason.

i’ll reiterate what i always say:

i think the schools that are best at incorporating an exceptional college experience and prestige and an amazing education are stanford, duke, and penn.

Prestige, fun and balance=
Michigan
Cal (UC Berkeley)
UNC (North Carolina)
UVA
UCLA

Vandy, Stanford, Northwestern and Ivies are Nerd INC!!! If you like studying, empty stadiums, obcessing over reum

Duke, Dartmouth, and Vandy, easily. Done.

A few sample Youtube videos :)

Two events sponsored by (read: PAID FOR…as in, beer is provided to all undergraduates) Duke itself:

…and those are just the parties OFFICIALLY SPONSORED by the school…I’m already invited to a foam party on the Saturday night of Orientation…:D

also, FYI, Duke and Dartie are two of the main schools on the forefront of Drinking Age Reform. They want it lowered to 18 ;)

^^^^

I’m second guessing my decision to attend Duke after watching that video with people singing to Miley Cyrus :P

^ haha I was thinking the same thing, but I forgive them. They were probably too drunk to care anyways :p
