<p>I know that the foreign language department is renown but what are Dartmouth's best programs and departments?</p>

<p>I think the Chemistry Dept is one of the best at Dartmouth.</p>

<p>^^I agree with both of the above. I think it's probably the best place to study language as an undergrad. The PhD program in chemistry is like 30-something, which is outstanding at a place which is primarily devoted to undergrads...</p>
