I am trying to decide between Yosemite, Sierra Madre or Trinity (Liberal Arts) for my dorm. Are any of these dorms most favored by A/D majors? Or is there another one that I haven’t thought of that might be a good fit? I want to be mixed in with students from different majors, which should be pretty easy to do given that my dept. is so small but was wondering if there is any dorm known for housing the “creative” people. I am told I will be up many nights working on my projects but am also very social so it’d be nice to be in a dorm where others are working into the night on their projects as well…arch students as well as my fellow designers, maybe. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yosemite and Sierra Madre have more diverse majors… but I think Trinity has a lot of fun! Trinity is the most creative dorms. We had “blue tape art” on the walls. I remember just being blown away with the art that can be done with tape. My year we had Open Mic Night and those were fun to see fellow dorm mates perform music. Because Trinity is a liberal arts dorm, most are liberal arts major. There is less studying compared to a few other dorms. I studied though. I cant say much about the other two dorms but I know they were crazy partiers. We had people who partied in Trinity but it became more quiet when it needed to be.

Definitely go for Trinity. I live in Cerro Vista, but I’ve found that as a musician and a graphic communication major, I have way more fun hanging out with my friends in Trinity. There are a lot of diverse people there; it’s a really great place to live (unofficially, in my case).

Def Trinity. I’ve talked to two students who are freshman right now and they say that Trinity is a great dorm and that it’s the most social out of the red bricks. So you’ll be around those are in your major and in the Liberal Arts dept but also get a chance to be social and have fun.
