This is for those of you currently attending USC. So, which dorms are the best places to live as a freshman? (Nicest Rooms/Best Location/Socially)
Also, what are dorms/living arrangements like at USC?
Thanks in advance.

Half of the Freshmen housing is located adjacent to McCarthy Quad. This includes New/North, Pardee, Marks Hall and Marks Tower. All of them are standard rooms with community bathrooms.

Across Figueroa is The Radisson Hotel, which houses students in several floors. You get a standard hotel room, although many of the rooms have student dorm furniture while others still retain the hotel furniture.

If you'd like an apartment w/ kitchen, then you can apply for Century, Cardinal Gardens, and Parkside Apartments. Century and Cardinal Gardens are located across Jefferson from the University. Parkside Apartments is in the Southwest corner of campus.

Finally, there are suites. One suites building is Fluor Tower, which is on the Northwest corner of campus. The other building is Parkside Suites, which is next to Parkside Apartments. It is the newest building and is very nice (I live in this bldg). Suites are usually 3-4 rooms that share two bathroom. The major downside to Parkside Suites is that you are required to have the Gold meal plan, which is 10 meals per week in the dining halls and $510 dining dollars.
