They don't have an undergrad ranking; usually the quality of the undergrad department correlates strongly with the overall quality of the school though

i am sure, a person hiring you would rather have the dude from Duke or Brown before the guy UC San Diego for econ.

In general, any highly-ranked research university with a strong liberal arts curriculum or any elite LAC will have a strong economics deparment.

This is true for college graduates. The rankings only measure department strength, which correlates strongly with the graduate reputation.

Trinity's economics program is very highly regarded; it's the most popular major at theschool. Not only is the program outstanding, but the Hartford area provides lots of internship opportunities, including in banking, insurance, government, and other fields. I strongly recommend considering Trinity, especially if you want to take some related poli sci courses.

yeah, i'm more interested in undergraduate info than graduate. i think that its the ivies and other top-notch schools with the exceptional econ programs.

Oh, William & Mary! They're supposed to have a really good economics department. I don't think it's quite at the same level of recognition as Trinity, but it's one to check out.

I think ive been able 2 post this question on 3 different threads now but here goes neway...How are trinity coll. and babson coll. econ. majors in terms of job placement?
