Best Football QBs ever

For you football fans, i was having a debate at school on this. Thought I’d put it on here.

my picks (in order)

Favre- 2nd best in stats (for now). Most MVPs. Won a Superbowl.

Young- Backup most his career. But shined when put on.

Montana- Didn’t have the stats as Favre and Marino, but he won 4 titles.

Unitas- Revolutionized QB position.

Marino- As of now, 1st best in stats. But no Superbowl.

Joe Montana

Tom Brady

Dan Marino

Brett Favre

i would question your #2, but i see your from mass. and i won't bother argueing.

:)

Montana

Brady

Unitas

Elway

Starr

Petyon Manning is close and going to break all of Marino's records, but I wouldn't put either of them in the top 5. Also, I don't see how Brady is going to drop from the top 5 in anyone's list of greatest quarterbacks ever.

Tom Brady is so unbelievably overrated.

Manning will be up there as soon as he wins some playoff games.

"Tom Brady is so unbelievably overrated."

I agree Brady's numbers don't necessarily scare you, but right now in a playoff game who would you rather have as your QB?

"Petyon Manning is close and going to break all of Marino's records"

why do people think this.

do you know how many seasons he's had over 30 TDs? 1. that was his 49 season. 1 in 8 years of playing ain't gonna get many records. add that to the fact he's gonna lose his pro bowl RB.

favre has done it a record 8 times. Favre is gonna break marinos TD record, and completion record and win record next season if he keeps his career pace.

only record mannings gonna get is maybe most career playoff loses.

and ace, are you kidding me at brady at 2.

brady isn't even the 2nd best player playing right now, let alone all time.

bradshaw won 4 superbowls, wheres he.

stats don't lie, the best 2 statistical passers ever are marino and favre.
put them on the pats they win every year.

Brett Favre

Terry Bradshaw

Fran Tarkenton

Dan Marino

Joe Montana

Football is a team sport. The ultimate factor in determining how good a quarterback is should be how many championships he leads his team to.

Tom Brady may not have the statistics that some of the other quarterback do - but he does lead his team to Super Bowls wins.

Dan Marino and Peyton Manning have great individual stats but they fall short when it comes to winning the big games.

I would take Joe Montana or Tom Brady anyday. BTW packerfan22, Bart Starr may have been before you time, but he belongs on the list with Montana and Brady.

"I agree Brady's numbers don't necessarily scare you, but right now in a playoff game who would you rather have as your QB?"

Peyton, take any of those Patriot teams that won the SB and replace Tom Brady with Peyton, just think about that one.

Yes, Peyton would find some way to choke his team to defeat. Just like he's done this year, and last year, and the year before that...

You mean to say that those Pats teams had better offensive players around Brady than the Colts around Manning?

Manning has James and Harrison, and still can't win a playoff game.

Brady wishes he had guys like James and Marvin Harrison around him.

Right now? Jake Delhomme FTMFW.
I don't care how the season ended for him against the Seahawks, up until then he had one of the best QB ratings in history (was it the best?) throughout the playoffs.

My top QB picks for a must-win game:

Brady

Big Ben

Hasselbeck

Delhomme

McNabb

Brady is a good QB because he makes the right plays in Bellicheck's system. I think he's good because he does what he has to do to win the game.

Personally, Montana and Elway are tops for me but I think Bradshaw should get a little love in this ranking also...

quaterbacks are only as good as the linemen they have.

now thats the truth. you can have the best of the best, but if thier line sucks, they will suck

That's true for conventional drop back pocket style quarterbacks like Drew Bledsoe.

But I'm not sure about scrambling QBs like Vick.

lol, ok u know nothing about football.
