Regarding Oklahoma (or any of the other schools that may change their awards): Anyone know when the new scholarships for 2015-2016 get announced/finalized? Is it in the Fall like September or October?
@artie1 I can’t say exactly when the current Oklahoma scholarship got announced but at least it does very clearly state that it is for the students “Entering in Fall 2015” at the top of the pdf detailing the scholarship on the website. I’m pretty sure it has said this since the first part of November but I don’t know about earlier than that. I didn’t see any such stipulation in the description of Alabama’s NMF package on their website.
I do think these are set in the summer before the new crop of NMSF are announced in September, so I would think you could call the respective scholarship offices by mid-September and get the up-to-date information.
In fact, I just noticed that the small gray print at the bottom of the Oklahoma scholarship pdf says “Updated 8/14”
