The best HBCU is the one that offers you the most money (less financial stress/burden) and the one you feel most in love with. The rankings don’t tell you the whole story so trust my formula to determine the best HBCU.
Oprah went to Tennessee State, which is not generally regarded as a top HBCU and look how she turned out. One of the most powerful and richest women in the world. So rankings carry marginal weight, there are more important factors. Oprah always say that TSU nurturing environment played a big role in her love for journalism and desire to succeed.
